Submit Your Yom Kippur Words of Confession
On Yom Kippur, we confess the ways in which we have missed the mark over the past year. Our prayer is offered in the plural, calling all of us to account. Some years many of the confessions may resonate with your experience, while in other years they may feel foreign. This year, we're asking you for what you
will say al chet as you name your own personal stumbling blocks, which may undoubtedly resonate with others. What will you release when say when you stop to say "For the sin of .......?" Submit your words of confession HERE by Friday, September 10. All submissions are anonymous.

Habonim recently used Bender Fund assets to donate the money necessary to provide High Holiday food packages to elderly Holocaust survivors who are clients of Self Help Community Services. The Bender Fund was created almost 50 years ago in conjunction with our Brotherhood, and is dedicated solely to helping elderly, blind, and needy members of the Jewish community. Self Help reports that everyone who received the packages was so very appreciative and sends their thanks to all the members of Congregation Habonim for their generosity and kindness. Each year we help provide food packages to Self Help clients on Pesach, the High Holidays, and Hanukkah.
