We look forward to welcoming 5782 together.

We are offering in person and online High Holy Day prayer services. Our in-person services will be held at Ethical Culture and are open only to those who have been fully vaccinated. Masks are required. For those who are not eligible to attend in person or do not yet feel comfortable gathering in person, services will be available by livestream (not Zoom).

The Classic Habonim Service offered last year by Cantor Halev will return on Zoom.

We look forward to sharing the High Holy Days together. To enhance the health and safety of our community, we have implemented the following protocols for those attending in person at Ethical Culture:

  • If you are 12 or older, you must be fully vaccinated to enter the Ethical Culture building.
  • All attendees 12 or older must show to the security guards a physical or digital copy of your CDC vaccination card or your New York State Excelsior Pass in order to enter the building. Only fully vaccinated individuals may attend the services to be held in the Ethical Culture sanctuary.
  • In-person family services will be held on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 on the fourth floor at Ethical Culture for children 4-12 years and their vaccinated parents.  (Required advance registration for this in-person service is now closed. All are welcome to join on Zoom.)
  • All attendees, regardless of age, must wear a mask fully covering the mouth and nose at all times while in the Ethical Culture Building.
