Lomdim at Habonim
Lomdim- means “the learners”- but Habonim Teen Lomdim is so much more.
As post B’nai Mitzvah students, this is your time to hang out and learn with your Habonim friends outside of a traditional academic setting. We have a myriad of events and activities, things like Escape Rooms, Chelsea Piers, Ninja Gym, NYC tours, comedy writing workshops, and learning sessions based on the Jewish Holidays, Israel, and Tikkun Olam, social justice- truly something for everyone! Our Cantor Jessica Futran Scheinman and beloved Habonim teacher Barry Waldman lead the popular teen program.
Registration for Lomdim is for members only. Be sure your membership is current before registering. If you have membership questions contact office@habonim.net If you are not yet a member of Habonim, please first complete our membership application HERE and then return to register for Lomdim.
No one is denied membership because of inability to pay. If you have financial concerns, please contact us confidentially at office@habonim.net.
Schedule
For the most part we meet twice a month on Wednesdays and Sundays, with a few exceptions as we navigate the Jewish Calendar and Public and Private school calendars! Check back often for updates as the dates and events are subject to change!

Tues, October 14- Simchat Torah ice cream party and service- 1 hour before evening service
