Zoom Reminders:

To help maintain safety of all community members and participants, please PUT YOUR FULL NAME ON THE ZOOM SCREEN when joining Habonim programs and prayer services.

Zoom offers a window into our personal space. While many coronatime jokes have emerged about only wearing public-facing clothing from the waist (or neck) up, remember that when you come to the screen, you are helping to create sacred space. Particularly in our prayer services when we both sit and stand, take care to wear appropriate clothing and to adjust your screen accordingly.

Earlier this week you may have received a cancellation notice from Zoom re: Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning services. The notification was sent inadvertently and we're sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused. We are continuing to gather on Zoom for Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:30 pm each Friday and both on Zoom and in the sanctuary (for vaccinated registrants) at 9:30 am on Saturday mornings.

We do have new Zoom links for both Kabbalat Shabbat and Saturday morning prayer services, with a new passcode fitting our new year. If you did not register already for a link for 9/10 or 9/11 you will need to register the next time you attend services. Just use the appropriate link from a weekly email or on our website and you'll be set for 5782.

Zoom Instructions

While we can't get together in person, we are using Zoom to connect online for services, classes, and other activities. (There is no charge.) Chrome and Firefox browsers seem to work best. Zoom passwords are case-sensitive.

Please choose the setting in your profile that allows your name to appear on screen. Remember that other Zoom meeting participants can see the backdrop of your home, and what you're wearing. You can mute your audio so that background noise in your home can't be heard by meeting participants. "Unmute" when you wish to be heard.
