Blessing of the Animals
Tuesday, October 12, 5:30 pm Having just completed parashat Noah on Shabbat, we invite anyone who wishes to join us (wearing masks) outside the Habonim building with their animals (live or stuffed) for a special blessing of the animals.
Virtual Tour of a Jewish Museum Exhibition
Tuesday, October 19, 6 pm Sisterhood of Congregation Habonim is organizing a virtual tour (via Zoom) of the Jewish Museum's current exhibition on wartime Europe, Afterlives: Recovering the Lost Stories of Looted Art . There is no cost to attend, but preregistration is required. This event, with its many connections to our congregation's history, is made possible by a generous gift from Neil Goldstein.
