Mishloach Manot
Have you signed up to contribute to this year's Mishloach Manot Drive? When you participate, you fulfill the Purim mitzvah of sending gifts, support Sisterhood and the entire congregation, and support our children: 10% of all funds raised will be donated to an organization chosen by our Religious School students. And of course, you get Mishloach Manot with hamantashen baked by volunteers from the Habonim community! Sign-ups close on Wednesday, March 1. To participate, click HERE!

Purimpalooza & Megillah Reading!
Monday, March 6: Purimpalooza! at 5:30 pm Join us for fun, treats, pizza and games - and of course the shpiel - at this event that will be especially fun for kids and adults ages 8+! The event is free, but registration is required - please register HEREand receive an extra raffle ticket if you register before March 2!
Megillah Reading at 6:30pm Bring boxed dry pasta, beans, lentils and other shelf-stable foods that make a good shaking sound to Habonim for our Megillah reading to blot out the sound of Haman's name. Leave these foods at Habonim for donation to the West Side Campaign Against Hunger or click here to make a monetary donation and fulfill the Purim Mitzvah/responsibility of matanot l'evyonim/giving food to the poor. Our Megillah reading is also available by Zoom. Register for the Zoom here and remember to bring your pasta groggers to the screen!

Help Victims of the Turkey-Syria Earthquake
Per the AP, survivors of the earthquake that jolted Turkey and Syria 15 days ago, killing tens of thousands of people and leaving hundreds of thousands of others homeless, dealt with more trauma and loss Tuesday after another deadly quake and aftershocks rocked the region. If you'd like to support the victims of the earthquakes, you can donate to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) HERE.

Repair the World Summer Teen Service Corps! Applications open!
Session 1: June 29 - July 20 | Session 2: July 25- Aug 10 (Tuesdays-Thursdays) Do you know a teen looking for a meaningful summer in the city? Invite them to apply for Repair the World's Summer Teen Service Corps! Over 3 or 6 weeks, teens will volunteer hands-on in food or education justice, learn about changemaking in NYC and make new friends! Teens qualify for 45 hours of community service per session. Open to teens of all backgrounds.
