Make Your Voice Heard
Casting a vote is a Jewish imperative. Mark your calendar to vote in NY's Congressional primaries on August 23. If you are unable to vote in person either during early voting (August 13-21) or on Election Day, now is the time to request an absentee ballot online. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is August 8. Your vote matters. Make your voice heard.
Project Aliyah / Current Covid Protocols
Project Aliyah is our building-reopening and health & safety team, made up of a diverse group of members. We take a reasoned approach to Covid protocols, balancing public health advice, community conditions and Jewish values around taking care of others, along with the needs and wants of our members. We want to hear from you at: project.aliyah@habonim.net.
Current Covid Protocols: Those 5 & up attending services in person must offer proof of vaccination. Masks, preferably a KN95, N-95, KF94 or equivalent, are required while indoors. If you have been exposed to Covid in the past week or are on days 6-14 of your infection, we ask that you take a rapid (antigen) test just prior to the service. If you test positive or are/feel sick, we hope you will attend on Zoom or livestream!
