Happening TONIGHT at 8
Kick-off for Elul at Habonim TONIGHT (Thursday, August 20), 8 pm The Hebrew month of Elul calls us to look inside and unearth what we've buried under the surface. Join us in welcoming Elul with licensed Israel tour guide Anat Harrel, who was present with archaeologists when a Roman-era mikveh was discovered last month. Register here to receive Zoom link.
Sound the Horn!
On the second day of Rosh Hashanah, at our Congregation Habonim service we'll include members of our community blowing shofar in a special video designed to bring us together and hear the voices of Habonim. Join this important message by participating in this vidhug, reaching past the computer screen to fellow community members and friends. Deadline to submit your video is Thursday, September 3. DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP IS TODAY THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 Shofar Project with Institute of Jewish Spirituality August 21-September 18 The Shofar Project is a free program during the month of Elul. Each week will focus on a different aspect of awakening and renewal.
