Upper West Side Community Sounding of the Shofar
Sunday, September 20 at 4 pm
The shofar will be sounded at numerous Upper West Side locations on Broadway, between 64th and 110th Streets, on the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
Join with members of the Habonim community at 64th Street (with Rabbi Gelber) or 68th Street (with David Feuerstein), or with neighbors at the other locations listed below.
There will be a group meeting at the toddler playground behind 180 West End Avenue and PS 199 (Lincoln Towers) . We will be walking over to Broadway at 3:45.p.m.
If you arrange a meeting place, you can send the information to sisterhood@habonim.net by 6 p.m. 9/17--and it will be sent to this list Thursday night/Friday morning.
