Habonim is delighted to offer a variety of welcoming, egalitarian Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur prayer services and experiences for our membership and guests.
TRADITIONAL HABONIM SERVICE (in person at Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th St (SW CORNER CPW/64th), and livestream):
Rabbi Joshua Ben-Gideon and Cantor Jessica Futran Scheinman, Habonim's spiritual leadership team, will guide this traditional Conservative High Holy Day prayer service.
CLASSIC HABONIM SERVICE (Zoom only):
This service, led by Cantor Emeritus Bruce Halev and Rabbi Mark Somerstein, features the German Liberal liturgy, including choir and organ familiar to our early members and their descendants, from recordings made several years ago at Central Synagogue.
YOUTH SERVICES (in person at Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th St.):
Our children represent the future of our community. Youth Services take place at Ethical Culture, including Torah Tots for children up to age 5 (with parents or caregivers), and three options for Kids' Kehillah. See below for schedule details! Youth services are free for children and the adults who stay with them. Non-Member adults who wish to drop off children in grades 3-6 and attend adult services must purchase tickets for those services. Non-Members may register using the link below to help us with planning.

High Holy Day Campaign
Contribute to this year's High Holy Day Campaign and help support Habonim!
Memorial Book
Each year on Yom Kippur, we have an opportunity to remember and acknowledge our deceased loved ones. To aid in this important opportunity, Congregation Habonim puts together a virtual, printable Memorial Book. Including the names of deceased loved ones in our Yizkor Memorial Book is a meaningful tribute to them and a tangible reflection of their impact on our lives.
