Kristallnacht 2023

Thursday, November 9. Doors open at 6:15pm, service starts at 6:30pm.

In the wake of the Hamas attacks in Israel, it feels more important than ever to join together in person to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, "the night of broken glass." Join us Thursday, November 9th at 6:30pm in the sanctuary at Habonim for a service of t'fillah, testimony and togetherness. Our presence will honor our founding members who fled Nazi Germany and re-established themselves as Habonim/The Builders. Led by our clergy team, Rabbi Lisa Gelber, Cantorial Soloist, Jessica Futran and Cantor Emeritus Bruce Halev, and enhanced by the voices of members of our youth community.

Strudel, snacks and an opportunity to be together will follow in the Social Hall.
