Congregation Habonim is a fully egalitarian, vibrant neighborhood synagogue on the Upper West Side in Lincoln Square, just a block from Lincoln Center and close to Central Park. Our synagogue offers a haven of warmth and spiritual growth in a large and often anonymous city. We welcome people of all ages to daven (pray) with us at our weekly Shabbat services and during festivals and holidays, and we have an online minyan on Tuesdays for those looking for a place to say kaddish for a loved one. Congregation Habonim is a member of the United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism (USCJ.)

Shabbat services, for adults as well as for children, are participatory and draw from diverse segments of the community. Children’s services are an important element of Jewish communal life and provide both child-friendly tefillah and a sense of kehillah (community) for adult and child participants. Our Nursery School and our Religious School provide young kids with a quality education, and prepare children for participation in Shabbat services through the age-appropriate instruction of songs and tefillot.
